Ad Frequency
Ad frequency means the number of times an ad is visible to a customer in a day. It is basically set on campaign level but is applicable on creative level, therefore user can define the ad frequency per campaign.
Alternative Title
Alternative title is an optional field which is available for all the campaigns, except App Install / Engagement campaign. It has a length of 45 – 60 characters, which makes it useful for the ads that are going to be displayed on desktop browsers.
Audiences
You can target your ads to a specific set of audiences, like sports lover, food, business, etc. in Target Interest Categories campaign.
Bidding Options or Campaign Type
Cost-per-click (CPC) and Cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM) are 2 different bidding options you can choose for your Ads.
- CPC (Cost-per-click) means that you are charged when someone clicks on your ad. You can specify the maximum amount you're willing to pay for each click. You can further opt for Max CPC and Fixed CPC.
- Max CPC - Max CPC is a bid that you set to determine the highest amount you're willing to pay for a click on your ad. It means, if someone clicks your ad, that click won't cost you more than your set Maximum CPC.
- Fixed CPC – Fixed CPC is the fixed amount that you are willing to pay when someone click on your ad.
- CPM (Cost-per-thousand-impressions) means that you will be charged a fixed rate per thousand impressions. CPM is always fixed.
Budget
It is the overall amount that you are willing to pay on a campaign.
Call to Action
Call to Action (CTA) allows you to provoke an immediate response on the ad. A few examples of CTAs are Read More, View Details, Click Now, etc.
Campaign Duration
It is the duration of time for which you plan your campaign to run. It has a start date and an end date.
Delivery Mode
- Accelerated Mode: In Accelerated mode, the system will attempt to consume the ad budget in the least possible time provided that the CPC is high enough to win the price bidding.
- Standard Mode: In Standard Mode, the daily spend will be the average of total amount and duration of the campaign.
Description
Every ad has a description, which is between 60 to 100 characters long. It is optional to add a description in an ad.
Estimated Daily Reach
It is the estimated number of clicks that your ad is expected to have in a day. Please note, this is just an estimation. Clicks on your campaign depends on your biding and creative quality.
Geography
Geography is the areas where you want to target your ads. It includes city, state, country and continent.
Landing Page URL
Landing URL is the destination URL of your ad. It means after clicking on your ad, users will land to that particular page. You can provide the ad landing page detail in all the campaigns. In General Promotions, Promote Content, and Target Interest Categories campaigns, you can provide this detail in Add URL section. In App Install/Engagement campaign, you can provide the detail in Destination URL section.
Max Daily Budget
It is the maximum amount that you are willing to pay on a campaign in a day.
Optimization Type
There are two ways to optimize the App Install campaign. One is click-based optimization and the other is install-based optimisation. In install-based, your campaign will be optimized on the basis of installs and you can track the installs via tracker and tracking URL. Whereas, in click-based, your campaign will be optimized on the basis of number of clicks your campaign gets.
Platform
Platforms are the technologies where your campaign will run. You can run your ad on mobile web, desktop web, Android app, iOS app, and FB instant articles.
RSS Feed
RSS feed enables an advertiser to syndicate data automatically. Creating an ad using RSS feed is applicable in case of Promote Content and Target Interest Categories.
Title
The main title of an ad contains up to 45 characters. It is mandatory for an ad from any campaign categories to have a title. It is displayed at the top of the ad.
Tracker and Tracking URL
A tracker is a third-party tool which is used to track an app. It can be used to track the number of times an app is installed by different users. The tracker tracks the app with the help of tracking URL.
